FAQ

Almost every feature in this app works 100% offline, whether it’s prayer times or the Qur’an; only the blog section requires an internet connection so you can read the blogs.

In this app, we use the Adhan Library, which is completely free and works offline; all prayer times are calculated based on your local time and delivered accurately to you, and as for method selection, you don’t need to choose anything manually because the app automatically selects the correct method based on your location.

Prayer times may occasionally be slightly off by a few minutes—for example 3–4 minutes in rare cases, though they are usually very accurate and often differ by only about a minute; since our app works completely offline and calculates times locally, this can sometimes cause small variations, but a difference of 1–5 minutes is generally acceptable inshaAllah, and we will continue improving the app to provide the most accurate prayer times possible.

yes you will get pre-notification which is 15 minutes before adhan. you will receive adhan and prayer notification every single day on time. only if you disable the option or if you disallowed the notification permission then you will not receive any pre-notification or adhan. but enabling them back will start the scheduling again.

Ahad Risalah does not store any of your personal data or sell it to third parties, including information like your ID, name, date of birth, or any other personal details; the app only uses location and notification services to provide accurate prayer times and send alerts such as Adhan and pre-notifications, and if you choose to subscribe to the blog feed, you may provide your email address, which you can unsubscribe from at any time without any issues.

We recommend disabling battery optimization and setting it to unrestricted, as Android may restrict or kill the app in the background, which can affect the prayer widget and alarm notifications; to ensure widgets and prayer alerts work properly, it’s highly recommended to keep battery optimization set to unrestricted.
